NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Ronald Venters completed 16-of-27 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown as Howard fought back for a 27-22 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday.

Bison receiver Jarahn Williams caught five passes for 112 yards and one touchdown while Keon Coleman rushed 24 times for 140 yards and a touchdown for Howard (3-2).

Collin Drafts was 20-of-33 for 257 yards, while Maurice Price caught nine passes for 189 yards for the Buccaneers (2-3).

Howard took its first lead of the game at 21-15 in the second quarter when Ronald Venters connected with Williams for a 25 yard touchdown reception.

Drafts' 65-yard scoring pass to Price cut the Bison's lead to 27-22 with 9:33 to go. The Buccaneers got the ball back, but punted with just over five minutes left. Howard would run out the clock.
