Hendrickson looks to conclude unbeaten stretch

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (Ticker) -- In the last two months, Mark Hendrickson has been the closest thing to a sure thing for a team that is 26 games below .500.

Hendrickson makes his final start of the season Sunday when the Tampa Bay Devil Rays host the Baltimore Orioles .

Since July 30, Hendrickson (11-7, 6.06 ERA) is 7-0 with a 4.63 ERA and has gotten plenty of run support, averaging more than six per nine innings this season.

In his last start, Hendrickson gave up four runs and eight hits in eight innings of Sunday's win against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Baltimore's Rodrigo Lopez (14-12, 4.97) has dropped five of his last six starts and is still looking to tie his career high for victories set in 2002. He yielded six runs and six hits in four innings of Monday's loss to the New York Yankees .

Melvin Mora belted his 25th homer of the season - his sixth in September - to lead the Orioles to a 7-6 victory over Tampa Bay on Friday.

Aubrey Huff slammed a three run homer for the Devil Rays , who trail the season series against the Orioles, 10-6.
